Dodecatron
Inspired by our favorite childhood toy, the Lite Brite, we've begun work on a project we're calling the "Dodecatron".
The Dodecatron is 8ft tall dedecahedron made from perforated plywood. Constructed for the 2016 Seattle Design Festival Block Party, the installation will allow the public to create an ever-shifting mural made from colored pegs painted in an entire swath of Pantone c. Each peg will be attached to a piece of colored cord or yarn. By tying each peg together it illustrates the restrictions and consequences of each action, it will also maintain a relationship between each color.
