We will continue work on an illuminated sculpture for the annual Redmond Lights. This installation will be an inhabitable light with a display influenced by the northern lights. Fabrication will involve minor wood-working (drilling, cutting, sanding, staining), fabric work (cutting and sewing), and electronics work (wiring, soldering, programming).

Design Nerds Meetups are always open to all and we welcome folks to feel free to jump in during the middle of a project.

Our meetings are held in Urban Artworks inside the Inscape Arts Building (815 Seattle Blvd S). Inscape is a controlled access structure, dial 009 at the callbox anytime after 6:50pm and someone will escort you in. Inscape is one block south of the International District Light Rail Station. Paid parking is available in the PFI parking lot off 6th Ave, however it is strongly suggested that you consider mass transit on game nights.
